The custom made Monitoring system monitors vital functions of the engines, generators, hydraulics and logs the vessel's track and all important data.
Diesel - Hydraulic power. Two John Deere 6068 diesel engines driving hydraulic pumps to power the hydraulic motor and a 38" bronze propeller. Low rpm! At cruise of 7.5 knots engine turn just 1200 rpm and the propeller 250 rpm.
There is a 55 sqm downwind sail from ISTEC, Hamburg along with Lewmar winches. Spare parts are readily available and stocked for ocean crossings (including complete gasket set for the main engines).
The vessel has 3 water tight bulkhead doors (engine room, master bedroom, forward stateroom), several fire fighting systems (Halon in the engine room, mobile CO2 fire extinguisher and a number of foam fire extinguisher. All bilge pumps in the vessel are monitored and logged by computer for activity and run time. Alarm will be triggered, when running longer than a threshold set.
