Kew Marine is a quiet and friendly family run marina, in a tranquil setting, close to Kew Green and the Royal Botanic Gardens. Briar is moored at the western end of the pontoon, on the outer side. There are uninterrupted views of the river and beautiful sunsets. Kew Bridge station is a 5 minute walk with trains to/from Waterloo every 15 minutes via Clapham Junction and Vauxhall. Kew Gardens underground and overground station is a 15 minute walk. The M4 and M3 are easily accessible.
Briar was built by Peter Nicholls in 1991 with a 10mm base plate and 6mm sides. It was blacked in 2014 and is insured until August 2021. A survey is required before renewal. The BSS certification is in progress and the Mitsubishi diesel engine has been recently serviced. The accomodation comprises an open plan saloon, with wood burning stove, and galley with new oven and fridge. One double bedroom (additional berth option by pulling out saloon seating).
