Surveyed, blacked and new anodes fitted in October 2020, a bright spacious dutch barge on a fantastic bank-side residential mooring at Packet Boat Marina, 1 mile from West Drayton station with bus links to Uxbridge tube station.

Maya is 50ft long with 10ft beam and the layout from stern to bow is:

Rear deck: Plenty of space to seat friends for drinks or to dine while watching the sunset, entrance to engine room, door to wheelhouse. All-weather canopy with removable sections. This allows the space to be used even when the weather isn't great.

Wheelhouse: Reasonable sized space to seat 3 comfortably. Currently mainly used as an office with large desk but could be used for dining or seating to watch the world go by, steps down to galley;

Galley: Large space with sink, fridge, gas cooker, extractor fan, 38L mini-freezer, breakfast bar and plenty of storage space;

Lounge: Good sized space with 2 seater sofabed, multifuel stove and electric panel heater, door to cabin;

Cabin: Double bed with under bed storage space, wardrobe and drawer storage / desk units, electric panel heater, doors to shower-room and bow storage room;

Shower-room: Enclosed shower, cassette toilet and wash basin, extractor fan, heated towel rail;

Bow storage: A large store room with shelving.

Overall Maya is a spacious, very light boat in a tranquil location on the western outskirts of London. The marina has good facilities with a social room, new shower block for residential customer use only, secure parking and a laundry (free for residential customers). The mooring has a large bank-side space for table and chairs and a storage shed and has fixed line internet with speeds of 10mbps.
